Over a hundred people attended an FSRE meeting held at the Nordica Hilton Hotel.

The methodology of systematic completion (systematisk ferdigstillelse) has been implemented in Norway to reduce the risk of defects and discrepancies in projects. It involves following structured and systematic processes during design, construction, delivery, and throughout the trial/operational period, until the liability period ends.

At the meeting, Kristján Haukur Flosason discussed the challenges faced by contractors in the design, installation, and integration of technical systems.

Gunnlaugur Trausti Vignisson from HENT in Norway presented the methodology his company has used and developed. Gunnlaugur has translated a handbook on systematic completion from Norwegian, and the handbook will be published next week by FSRE.
